Who is in charge a your house? The hardest thing in the world is being a good parent. My mother always said ” You know you are doing something right when it seems hard, that means you care.” Doesn’t it feel hard most of the time? I always joke with my mom by saying, “Well mom, I guess we are doing a darn good job!” Our son Cohen had the best preschool teachers in the world and they introduced the parents to this amazing book called “1-2-3 Magic” by: Thomas W. Phelan, Ph.D.

Encourage Good Behavior
Strengthening Your Relationship
Guess what? it works! Our son gave us the amazing terrible three’s. My husband Anthony and I were so frustrated. Just getting him dressed or go to the bathroom was a struggle. I read this book and really enjoyed it. I didn’t really know if it would work but I was willing to give it a try. The very first time I tried the technique for discipline it worked. I was so SHOCKED! That is why they call it magic. I encourage anyone who is having a hard time finding a way that works on disciple, encouragement and a better relationship to read this book. Raising well behaved and honest kids is hard work but in the end, so worth it.
